Re: Dedicated Meme Thread
I think front pin detent would be more accurate. I have launched quite a few of them. I don't remember ever having launched the buffer retainer or spring But did you ever take out a 48in overhead florescent light? While it was on of course. Hint: if that happens dont look up! It sounds about like a...

There are a few businesses I patronize regularly. They are not franchises. I know the owners and managers personally. Their staff are competent, friendly, and fast. I pay for goods and services in cash at those businesses and I tip in cash at a couple of restaurants. I do not like sharing money with...

I used to think that maybe we are advancing too fast as a civilization, and then i remembered that we went from the Wright Brothers first flight to landing on the moon in 60 something years. I dont think tech is advancing too fast. I think people are just dumbing down and not keeping up (as demonst...

Hey, it is your business and you can decide what products or services are offered. If this guy wants to ship he is free to go to fedx and do it himself. I do not believe an ffl is required to ship to a manufacturer for repair? And finally what i learned many years ago is that getting pissed off at a...

Do you even believe your lies? Because we stopped years ago. 😁 It just an interpretation of the English language Thinning the herd actually means more guns that he shoots less. So each individual gun gets fed less. Makes perfect sense to me. Actually I'm shooting more than I ever was before! Having...

Should cover the edge of the rim
its not a square outside edge
I havent found a spent 22 case to photo
if its working its good enough
Dont file it that may end up producing light strikes

Great it’s running now
Might check to see if you can find a new firing pin then it would be fully back and ready for years of use.

Re: Help diagnosing the lever 22 problem
Have another look at the first pic showing the firing pin strike on the brass. The top is scalloped and does not contact the full rim. That indeed may have been caused by dry firing. I looked for a spent 22 brass but didnt find one in my bag. But look at one from another gun you will see a sharp rec...

Re: Help diagnosing the lever 22 problem
What position is the ejector in relation to the firing pin. Is the tip of the firing pin broken? Or ejector edge? Since its a lever gun there could be quite a lot of force applied to the ejector. Is the lever at all difficult to open? Or close? Could hand load a round to see if it easily chambers or...

9mm Ammo Supply??
The goto local source is unable to restock 9mm 115gr brass. Last price was $233 / case. Last stock is Magtec only.
Several goto online suppliers have no 9mm stock.
I havent checked other calibers.

Re: More pawn shop buys... Cutty slashy thingy with a bonus
I just overhauled a vintage Fender Twin Reverb for an almost neighbor The core issue was it was a 110v model. Took a month or so to source a few parts but it sounds great now. The cabinet and grill show its age but it sounds great now. That’s the first amp I ever owned!!! Sweet sounding amp, one of...
