Re: Yo Bigslug. Or anyone else. 870 question.
Walnut stocks, barrels, and about every part in an 870 is readily available. It’s probably a safe bet that a surplus le shotgun has seen far less abuse than one used by winter bird hunters. I had a wingmaster years ago. It worked great but didnt fit me well. Sold it bought Franchi 41 12ga, 26in IC, ...

Re: Is It ECONOMICAL To Reload Anymore?
Dillon has great products and several people i shoot with have had great support. My comment was that their equipment and all accessories are not low cost these days. I haven’t calculated where the break even is buying a complete reload system in addition to the cost of brass, primers, powder, bulle...

Memorial Day
Wishing all a wonderful holiday. Hope all will take a moment to remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Originally called Decoration Day following the Civil War, the holiday began as a day to place flowers on the graves of fallen soldiers and evolved int...

An uncle taught me how to make turkey calls from a piece of cedar stuck in a corn cob on a small piece of blackboard slate. Hold in a cupped hand to tune it. They worked well

Re: Shooting at the WHCD
Speaking of TSA, what a joke. Imagine how smooth brained you have to be to take a potential explosive (my effing bottled water) and throw it in the trash can that you'll stand next to for the rest of your shift, because ya know, it might be an explosive 🤷♂️ All TSA knows to put all water bottles i...

Re: Fayetteville, Ar
I am very familiar with the area. I used to run rivers and fish the lakes and rivers in NW AR. Walmart headquarters and supporting vendors are a large part of that area. Cities are Bentonville, Springdale, Rogers, Fayetteville that are clustered together. If you like the outside fishing (lakes and t...

There are a few businesses I patronize regularly. They are not franchises. I know the owners and managers personally. Their staff are competent, friendly, and fast. I pay for goods and services in cash at those businesses and I tip in cash at a couple of restaurants. I do not like sharing money with...

I used to think that maybe we are advancing too fast as a civilization, and then i remembered that we went from the Wright Brothers first flight to landing on the moon in 60 something years. I dont think tech is advancing too fast. I think people are just dumbing down and not keeping up (as demonst...

Hey, it is your business and you can decide what products or services are offered. If this guy wants to ship he is free to go to fedx and do it himself. I do not believe an ffl is required to ship to a manufacturer for repair? And finally what i learned many years ago is that getting pissed off at a...

Do you even believe your lies? Because we stopped years ago. 😁 It just an interpretation of the English language Thinning the herd actually means more guns that he shoots less. So each individual gun gets fed less. Makes perfect sense to me. Actually I'm shooting more than I ever was before! Having...
