Re: And the Oscar for More Balls Than Brains category...

When I was on the NRA Technical Staff, the Technical Editor, Pete Dickey, showed me how to use a pencil eraser or a piece of binder clip as a make-due trigger return spring on the old H&R top breaks. That man as a genius.

Re: pulled the pin

Thanks, all. I can't just sit and scratch my butt all day, so I got a part time gig at the gun counter at the new Bass Pro opening in Tucson this spring. Between that and volunteering at U of A and the local animal shelter, I'll be busier than I have ever been. (Zee :P )

Long shot, but here goes....
I think Sharpe is referring to either a Gerlich or Janacek in this article. Anyone know for sure?

It can’t be defined or dictated. And should NOT be regulated. Period.

Every individual is as different as the gear used.

Re: Winchester 94 top eject scope mount

If a red dot is an option, Turnbull has some good mounts that are no-drill/alteration that go in the rear sight dovetail:

Re: Scope Gadget for the Gamo.

Make sure you're using a scope specifically made for an airgun. Airguns recoil in the opposite direction of a cartridge gun so the scopes have to be made differently. A non-airgun scope come will come unglued in short order.

How old are you? I'm 56 and thinking of pulling the pin sooner rather than later.

Lots of rain, downed trees and power outages here in SC. Thankfully, my place survived without a scratch.
