We laid him to rest yesterday...his kids, grandkids, great grands, nephews, nieces and cousins gathered for him one last time, some words were said, a rifle volley was fired, Taps was played and that was that...it was well done

Just heard from my niece that my brother passed this evening...Jon L. Sullivan was not only the last of my brothers but he was one of my heros as well...My world is suddenly smaller tonight. Not sure how I feel about being the last of the Sullivan Brothers

Yep...sunk my F150 to the frame on a pasture trail that, as it turned out, had a spot that didn't have a bottom...took my cousin's truck, which got stuck, his cousins big John Deere, and also his cousins bigger John Deere , that, pulling in tandem got everybody out

I'm in the process of getting a Yankee Hill Suppressor for my 5.56 ARs...One of the firearms I want to use it on is my 8.5" ARs...Now I discovered that the shortest barrel they recommend is a 10"...What is likely to happen if I use it on the 8.5 barrel?

The .45-70 1895 has a straight stock and the base of the tang sight rested right in the web of my hand...it was a great thought but in practice....it sucked...ended up putting a Buckhorn on it....
