Re: Fun In The Sun...Dogging With SP's
For a few minutes got a touch of nostalgia for Linefinder’s old P-Dog shooting threads. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the memories.

Re: New .357
NICE!!! I’ve never had anything but great experiences with Rossi lever action guns. My current .44 mag is a hell if a shooter! Have you tried any hot loads? Full power commercial 240gt JSPs and a few hot plated 210gr SWC which the rifle LOVES. Steel plates at over 100 yards are just an offhand prop...

Re: Friends around a campfire…. Snowy Mountains high!
There is a real condition called Altitude Sickness, where your body doesn’t adapt to lower oxygen levels in the air. It can knock you on your butt. Going too fast from sea level to 9700 is rough on the body! Suffered from that on a trip to Utah and the surrounding parks. Wife booked a hotel Brian H...

Yep!shotgunshooter3 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2026 10:39 pm You know it's a great group when the snow starts working its way towards you, everyone just kind of stares at it and grunts, and goes back to the fire without saying a word... and it was an absolute blast!

I was friends with him in FaceBook before I got banned. Now I can’t remember his name so I can’t friend him again. He seemed to be doing well with his latest imported Philippine wife last I heard from him.

Not any terminal testing. A 405 through the spine is pretty definitive. Yep. Note that I didn't ask about bullet recovery. Until you soften those bullets down into maybe the 10-11 BHN range, you won't likely see anything in terms of meaningful deformation with those solid flat points - certai...

Re: And I thought I was done...
CRAP, unfortunately I leave that Friday to go to NC for my Mother-In-Laws 80th Bday celebration and she got a nice house on the beach for a week so we could have a family reunion. Zero chance I can get out of this one and the logistics would be crazy. BUT, I will commit right now to attending next y...

Re: And I thought I was done...
SPs have been in my radar for a LONG time. Problem is every time I’m in a position budget wise to acquire one some old time lever action pops into my screen and I end up spending the money in 1800s technology. 🤬 Nothing wrong with that. When you or if you truly want one bad enough, you know where t...

Maverick has some decent brew from their fresh coffee machines. But it does indeed, get you moving. But locally we don’t like Maverick, they bought out another localish chain, Kum N Go. Had quite a few struggles getting things switched. Finally better, but still not our beloved Jizz and Jet . Took ...

A guy I know contacted me, asking if I knew of anyone wanting to buy a 308 Winchester XP-100. Thought to myself, "I will see if I know of anyone looking for one." I asked my typical detail questions, so I could give good info later on. The more he described via text, it got more interesti...
