Some of us old people have got to the point where we like 'uncomplicated' and prefer to use our money/other people to do the stuff for us.....that way we dont get bogged down in the basics and can work on perfecting grumpiness...

I also like watching Midwest Safety. Cop bodycam footage. And another one I can’t recall the name of that shows high speed police chases. FYI, don’t run from Arkansas or Georgia state popo. They’ll PIT your ass. This......And I also watch Black and White old cowboy movies ....Some NZ hunting vids.....

Every time my birthday falls on a friday I have a week of bad luck. Re: .300 BO - Why?

I dont have a 300BO........Bloodhound has 2. The only benefit/advantage that it gives him is that its more 'friendly' for culling near neighboring properties when culling deer. Over the years we have both found that when operating at night near neighboring properties, a single shot from a suppressed...

Gotta like when you have to use the quad for cover and they walk towards it, must be your new aftershave The whole time I was hiding behind the quad, I was thinking "These deer are stupid, normally the sight/sound of my quad has them heading towards the hills." I think maybe the storms ov...

..........I did a hunt report! Have shot/culled quite a few deer over the the last 10 mths........something like 20+. Re: New gun related buy....sort of.

Update on progress..... Did some research and found out that there may be a problem with overheating if the drone is 'live' but not flying...apparently they do get hot when the battery is discharging and the air movement as it flies keeps the temp down... So, I adapted the flat platform to this. 202...

Thanks for the comments guys. I figured that my redneckery should join the electronic age.....I looked at all the alternatives like buying a dedicated camera for spotting targets, getting a very high powered spotting scope or telescope, but this seemed to be the easy fix. Of course, the drone will a...

Re: New gun related buy....sort of.

Just a word of caution......when you first fly it, dont get cocky and try to fly it into a house through a window....The drone has an automatic feature which makes it climb if it gets too close to the ground........and when it passes over the window sill it will automatically go into max thrust cos ...

I showed the specs to a guy I know who was in the top echelons of IBM and writes programs for NASA....he said that for the price point it would be perfect for what I want. I did put a target out when doing the first few test flights and with the drone parked 4m to one side the pics were very clear.....

So, I understand from this thread that suppressors are now legal to buy without having to provide your own vaseline and bend over? Sounds like a win for you guys!! No. They only removed the $200 tax. You still have to register them and go through the **** to acquire one. I guess its better than not...

New gun related buy....sort of.

Bought a DJI Mini 4K drone. Why is it gun related? Its main use will be to spot targets when sighting in rifles. The drone will be parked up next to targets at 200-300 and 400m to enable us to spot impacts and make adjustments by simply turning the head and looking at the screen without getting off ...
