GrapeApe (Paul) is in the hospital being transported to UAB Hospital for open heart surgery. They are expecting to do a quadruple or quintuple bypass on him. He’s in good spirits and as usual has a great attitude, but if you feel inclined please throw a prayer his way for him and his lovely wife Cindy. They could really use it.

Yep. Just talked to him on the phone myself - I'm not surprised based on posts he made here last week. I've said a prayer, and will say some more, and do the incense and candle thing as well.

He just met with the surgeon and he’s tentatively scheduled for Friday for surgery. They are keeping him in the hospital so no going home for now.

If they are waiting to Fri, then they are either idiots, or Paul isnt about to blow up, and I dont thing they are idiots. I know around here if you go anywhere near the heart folks, you are moving quick.
