Done! Thank you.

Now, everyone go vote for the bolt gun. And then two other things.
The .22 LR Dagger would be pretty spiffy too.

That chassis bolt gun looks promising.

What’s promising is an undesignated R700 pattern action that won’t be (hopefully) $600

You're welcome.
I voted for the bolt gun, the 12 ga and the bullpup

The 12 gauge is interesting. Has a an optic mount and takes Glock sight.
I LOVE when makers use common parts.

Thanks for the link. I shamelessly voted for bolt gun, shotgun, and the flare launcher.

I’m just about run out of crap I want. Shot show is about 10 mins from me and even though I have a bunch of buddies there I ended up with zero interest in attending. I’ll read about the announcements next week.

Know what I’d like to see? Someone just go through the show and post pictures with a one sentence description of each new cool thing. Gunblast.com used to do that back before Jeff Quinn got sick and passed.

Now everything is a 20 minute YouTube video to describe a new finish or barrel length. And everyone posts the same things- ooh! The same holosun optic is on every channel! Look, Ruger is copying Kel-Tec again!!

I can’t always watch a damn video. But I can have a page up in the background that I can scroll through when I can steal a minute or two.

If someone knows of a page just posting pics- I would appreciate it

Next you'll want each article on a 1911 or Glock to NOT devote half of its content to design history and features that are inherent to all models of said handgun, and have been published on/discussed at length since it was first introduced!

I’ve watched a handful of arfcom videos because they were only 5-6 minutes. But even then I skipped around.
And I say “watched”, I listen in my van. If it’s interesting I’ll watch it when I get home or at lunch

"Boomer" as a derogatory term. . .

What would you call somebody who identifies themselves with the PARENTS of the WWII/"Greatest" Generation? Because I think I probably am one. I think I might start calling myself a "Steamer". Excuse me while I go shovel some coal into my laptop.
WWJMBD?

I believe we should stand on Ceremony. . . while our friends handcuff the sanctimonious little prick and take him away.

If I can swing it, next year I’ll try to use running this place to get tickets and do a thread of just pics of cool new stuff.

I’ve been to Shot many many times. When we first started going it was fun so much to look at and check out. Then the AR craze hit and that’s all there was AR parts for days and days.

First time we went was early 2000. My wife and I walked for 3 days from opening to closing no lunch break. Didn’t see it all. I think it was last year was supposed to be the biggest ever, I can’t even imagine there being more to look at.

You should be able to get in, no problem. Although the last few years they have been cracking down and being a little more selective on the “involved in the industry” part.

At least you are not lumped in with the millennial generation.

If you start that religion do we have to bite your shiny metal ass to get in?

I got called into HR a couple months ago. They wanted to know if I heard 'Steve' say anything offensive to anyone. I truthfully said, "I am an early Gen X white male. I literally don't know WHAT he could have said to offend me."

He got turned in for calling someone "Rain Man"........

When I was a LEO my fellow officers especially the older ones called me “son of Sam” or “Dave.” My dad’s name is Sam, and he was an officer in the same department. Yeah there were some funny jokes as you can imagine…… my standard answers was “hell yes I own a 44 special!” 🤣
All this to say some people get offended too easy!

I was able to get in as a "military purchase authority" a few years ago. I was... for a unit with no available funds...

Just returned from SHOT. I had a great time in the booth. Lots of people stopped by and chatted.
