Shot the 800 agg (3 days of 80 shot matches) and an EIC. I went from 63 in PA to 92 in NC, that was a little brutal. First relay in the EIC it poured. Standing I opened my ammo box only after the time started. I shot 10 in 8 and a half min and the lid of the plastic ammo box was 3/4 full of water. When I dropped to sitting, water ran out of my rifle. Rain slowed quite a bit as soon as relay one was done. Did well at everything once I got off my feet.
Standing....... It was bad, I dropped 20 points in every agg and first shot in the EIC was a on paper miss. I had changed my hold to get more elevation over the winter. I am going back to last years grip. It means I have to lean over the rifle, hold the sling at the keepers in my hand and put a half min right on, but it feels better. I cant keep dropping 10% standing.
Sitting went well, not wonderful but pretty OK, 198-7, 198-8, 196-4 in the agg and a 96-3 in the EIC
Rapid prone went well. Day one I shot a crossfire on the first one. Best was a 198-6x (20 shots) in the agg and I cleaned 300 in the EIC 100-2x
600 is really coming together this year. My worst in the agg was 193-3x on a day with switchy and twitchy wind. The AMU guy on my point was dropping points and in and out of his spotting scope so I didnt feel bad about missing calls. It was literally changing direction from the time you got off the scope and when were able to send it. Best was a 195-10x in the agg. Shot well during the EIC with a 197-9x.
Had almost all kinds of weather to shoot in. Hot as heck, deluge with chilly, and third day of the agg it was foggy all day turning the black into darker estimations.
