I have to look at the bigger picture.

Was I better off during the Trump administration overall?

Was the country?

If the answers are a resounding yes to me then that guides my vote. Again a bump stock means nothing to me. If we have allowed the government to “regulate” machine guns for decades, being offended that a by-pass piece of equipment meant to fit into a loophole is suddenly on someone’s crosshairs doesn’t mean much to me. I don’t recall any any actual guns being taken away from anyone during Trunks administration. Do you?

But I do recall several of my veteran elderly relatives and friends telling me that the difference in care and treatment at VA hospitals changed drastically for the MUCH better literally overnight as soon as his administration started getting rid of the deadwood and holding folks accountable. Now THAT is something I can appreciate.

When you add lower energy costs, energy independence, becoming a net exporter of oil, almost negligible inflation, lowest illegal immigration in decades, great performance in the banking sector, lowest mortgage costs in decades, working successfully to fix trade imbalances, and the rest of the positives he brought to the table, the bump stock thing is like a pimple on my ass. Bothersome but it ain’t gonna kill me.

And just think what could have been accomplished if the entire swamp INCLUDING his own party members in Congress and his useless VP Oence were not fighting him and undermining him every step of the way and if he hadn’t had to fight two freaking bullshlt impeachment attempts.

For the second term, all the swamp things that were stonewalling him every step of the way have now figured out that the people do take notice and are falling in line because now the People are calling their office and telling them to behave or else. I hope that allows more to be done in the future if the House and Senate go Republican.

As to house and senate going republican, I dont see that happening.( Democrats may not vote for their chosen potato, but they’ll be out in force to vote for Congress.) But that’s not a promise of any sweeping changes. And actually bringing two sides together to get things done is preferable. Which, that simply won’t ever happen no matter the flavor of POTUS. But there is less than a zero chance with a Cheetoh flavor POTUS. But that’s not even worth discussing. He said/she said right VS left their right your wrong. Thats the stalemate that prevents massive swings every election cycle.

Cool, cool. If you're talking about someone needing to learn, avoid typos. If gun nuts get mad about clip vs. magazine, they should be able to get basic grammar correct.

I was watching the hearing live for a bit this morning. For like a SECOND I actually felt bad for her. The one of the Representatives actually said she was one of the worst DEI failures and I just had to start laughing, because it's SOOOOO true. Then again the gay guy they hired to be second in command in the Federal Employees Union who is in fact in charge of fair treatment for women employees is now being investigated because of his hysterical abusive behavior on his team and they are spotlighting he is a MAN (GAF though) in charge of a women's right group? So once again a wicked out incompetent gay or tranny got a job that could have easily gone to an actual capable female/male except for DEI.

One of the reps asked a question (it’s in that video, wasn’t watching just listening) asked her a question and when she gave a non answer the rep said “that’s poop.”

I do not belive she should be fired because someone successfully took a shot at The Don. That could happen entirely independent of her doing her job perfectly well. We do need that aspect investigated to determine if she was involved in any aspect of that failure through training, policies, asset management, institutional culture, or any number of things.


However

Her response since the shooting is grounds for immediate termination. The constant deferment of info, refusal to admit the plan was a failure, pathetic attempt to claim the roof was too dangerous to man, her throwing the local PD under the bus, and failure to instil confidence in the institution is all grounds for dismissal.

Because of her silence on facts that we know, there will soon be a shortage of tinfoil in this country. I have seen video claiming it was a Trump plan. I have seen videos claiming Biden was trying to assassinate him. I have seen videos saying Trump was never even shot. And finally I have seen videos claiming there were four shooters.

There should be regular and public updates on the investigation. Of course there will be info that can not be released, but regularly updating the public will head off most of the idiots on both side with their stupid conspiracies.
