I have had a few 300 blackout AR’s and the seem to migrate in and out of the herd. I like the cartridge and it being in a semi auto platform. I can load 300bo for cheap, so it’s a naturally fun range toy with a bit more pizazz than a pistol chambering. Although it could be said that the 300BO IS a pistol chambering. I have traditional leverguns chambered in pistol cartridges and thoroughly love them. When it comes to a AR pistol I haven’t warmed up to an AR pistol in pistol calibers. The one I had was in 300BO and had a brace with a 10” tube, hardly a pistol. It was not really my thing. It was too big to carry as a pistol and not really a carbine. I had a Ruger charger that was interesting, I played with it for a while and it too migrated on. Again, it too was awkward.
