Looks like a giant sperm that has its eyes set on eastern Missouri.
I just now, reading this thread, learned there was a hurricane afoot.

Three of the 67 counties in Florida do not have a hurricane or tropical storm warning.

I have never seen this before.

We're on the dirty side of the track, eastern half of the county already has its first tornado watch.

I have family in the Port Charlotte area. They said they are hanging tight and expecting high winds and 7 inches of rain.

Our place in FL is right about where all of the spaghetti models converge (Carrabelle). Left this AM but the dang storm is tracking right behind me to our place in GA.

All seriousness, stay safe Bream. I have a nephew in Tampa and my wife took a trip to Destin earlier this week. She’s flying home now.

Since they are not here at this time I'll report that FL friends, Diver, EricB and BigAl are fine and have or are expecting to dodge the bullet.

I wonder if the surrounding states, like Ohio will get hit with high winds like we did in 2007? We were out of power for 2 weeks. Go a fat insurance check for my roof though and repaired it myself.

My youngest is on the north end of Atlanta. He just sent my wife a pic of the 8' sinkhole in their front yard.

I think he is east of the severe weather, but the flooding has been a problem by him in the past.

Lots of rain, downed trees and power outages here in SC. Thankfully, my place survived without a scratch.
