Cops or pigs?

Post by CPJ 2.0 »

These two St Louis cops oink.

Also a good reminder why we should remember that we are responsible for ourselves.
Are all cops pigs? No.
Are these two cops pigs? 100%.

Long and short, cops are dispatched to a reported suicided. Find dude with a ventilated skull, pretend they didn’t see him and drive around the block to let him expire. “i get off in 30 minutes. “
Thank God for body cams.

There is no career in existence that automatically means the person or people employed by it are good people. The boomers really flugged up with teaching kids to respect all authority. There's no worse feeling than to have ones rights violated by someone that needs a bullet and there's nothing you can do about it.

In the video you could hear the other cops disgust as they were leaving the scene. (This was after they came back )

These idiots never gave a thought about anybody else! Yes, there was a good chance he would die no matter what anyone did, but if a medical team had gotten to him in time they could have saved the body long enough to harvest organs and help others. There may have been some good in this tragedy! I'd like to have a talk with them!

The body cam footage is disgusting the way they talk about the victim. They didn’t even bother calling for an ambulance till after they drove around.
Thankfully they both got fired. One of them lost his officer certification in Missouri, the other one hasn’t had his hearing yet I guess.

I bet this kind of shìt would stop if lawsuits were paid out from the police pension fund and not the taxpayers. They should also all lose qualified immunity. I've heard them tell lots of people on YouTube videos the old line of, "Well if you're not doing anything wrong, you shouldn't have anything to worry about."
Let's see the same apply to them.

Oh, and I'm not a believer that all cops are bad. I just dont believe that all cops are good and alot of people are under that impression.

Yep. But with a lot of these 'critical' jobs for the good of society (cops, teachers, firefighters, etc...) it is so much worse when someone is a complete screwup. If the guy patching your tire, selling enterprise software, doing project planning, etc... is a complete loser and screw up, it does not cause nearly as much damage to society and the future as when this kind of stuff happens.

But nothing will change.

Get ANY large group i.e. cops, firefighters, doctors, nurses or any other group that supposedly cares for people, and a certain percentage of them are "bad" people. ("Feminine flush" bags)

Supposedly, nurses are the most trusted profession, however you still hear about nurses purposely killing the people they're supposed to be caring for, stealing their meds etc, from time to time.

The major difference between law enforcement and any other profession is, LEO can hide behind laws and qualified immunity when they do sketchy/dumb things.
Thankfully body cams are a thing. Hopefully they will be made so they are mandatory everywhere, and that they record 100% of the time, and can’t be turned off or the audio muted.

If you’re not doing anything wrong, there’s no reason to be worried about the camera.

Funny thing about body cams. I have talked with some officers have to use them. Most hated them initially. But, after they or a few friends were cleared of wrongdoing stemming from a citizen complaint... they love them.

If I were a cop I would want mine on with every interaction. The benefits go both ways.

In 2000 I was a security manager for the Trans World Dome in Saint Louis. One day, at the "Mayor's Prayer Breakfast," I was called to the rotunda because an elderly man was not breathing. He was in defib. I used the AED on him and me and an off duty EMT worked on him for 15 minutes before the ambulance arrived. There were no fewer than 20 Saint Louis PD and Saint Louis Sheriff's deputies within feet of us, and not one of them lifted a finger to help. They were the ones who called the EMTs. Not one offered assistance. I was interviewed by Channel 4 news the next day. When I mentioned that, that part of the story was edited out....

In general, I have found that cops tend to be good folks. However, when one of them does do something "bad", they ALL close ranks FAST!
