I got this knife today from my father in law. Idk the difference between and automatic and spring assisted. All I know is you push a button and the blade opens. Push the button to close it. The only word I see on it is “stainless”. It has an animal which I assume is a cat. The “knob on top of the knife at the end of my index finger is a safety. If it’s pushed forward the knife won’t open. It also has what appears to be a tiny flashlight on top. If that is a light it takes a stack of VERY small button type batteries. Pretty sure the scales are fake stag.

Re: Unknown knife maker
If all you do is push a button, it’s automatic.
If you have to nudge it open with your thumb and then all the sudden it snaps open, it’s spring assist.

I think the Geneva Convention outlawed the "gut rippers" on the spine.
Re: Unknown knife maker
I did a Google Lens search on your pic. Came up with this from a tool selling site in Poland.

No manufacturer, so I looked further down the Lens list. Saw one with the same mark that said Panther.....

Re: Unknown knife maker
That appears to be it. I wasn’t expecting it to be a good brand. And apparently it’s not.
I appreciate the help in identifying it.
