Shot a fair 800, ended up at 771.
I had been shooting under 90's off hand so last week I went out to the home range and shot 5 round strings. Changed my support hand and I was calling the shots pretty well. I think the months off for the cancer may have helped. I wasnt forcing what wasnt working. The off hand is 20 shots for record at 200. 1st 10 round string was a 93 and the next was a 93. Better and consistent. Hold felt a lot better but taking the time off didnt do any good for the wiring between the booger hook and MK1-IBal or NPA. Guy running the match asked if I wanted to shoot some 200 after supper since we were both camping. I shot 3 10 round strings of 93-91-94 with some x's I was pretty happy.
Rapid sitting 100 the 98
Rapid prone @ 300, 96-94, not stellar, not un OK.
and a good 600 prone 197
Sun EIC for points. And I found out something I didnt know. Civilian legs (top 10%) are apparently all 10 point legs at the Nationals. If I were to pick up 6 on Sun and get into the 10% at Perry, I would be Distinguished.
So 10 offhand - 90 and I fought to get it
10 sitting- 98
10 prone 300- 98
600 - 195
for a total of 481 and I think 13x
and that got me ........
first leather. (shooters way of saying first loser
