Happy 3/08 day!!!
It’s time for a .308 gun porn thread!

Somewhere I have a picture of my pre-64 Winchester Model 88. Probably my favorite .308 rifle in the world because it was a bucket list gun.
Re: Happy 3/08 day!!!
I have a 16" .300 BO side charger by BCA. Not my favorite or most accurate but it is pretty close

Need to add the Winchester M88 to the list.

Re: Happy 3/08 day!!!
This is one of my all time favorite rifles. It was my dad’s rifle when he was on a swat sniper team back in the early 90’s. There were two of these on for each team, through a long story my brother has the other rifle I have dads. It still wears the original Redfield 3-9, 5 star Denver made scope and sling. I love this rifle! Oh sorry it’s a Remington Model 7 in yep 308. My brothers rifles serial number is couple hundred lower but identical.

Have you killed anything with that rifle?
Re: Happy 3/08 day!!!
Wanted to this past season. But, had issues with the vintage scope on it and didn’t have a replacement.

Re: Happy 3/08 day!!!
Yeah I’m sure there was zero scopes in your cave you could have used.

Re: Happy 3/08 day!!!
I'm pretty sure his stash of scopes might be a little lean on appropriate vintage scopes for a rifle like that one and I can't see putting one out of the pile of MIL-SPEC Hubble like ones on that gun.
Re: Happy 3/08 day!!!
Meh.
Make it work now, “upgrade” to a vintage scope.

If he forgot the gun, I’m sure there’s a scope he forgot in the pile. Although it may be on the top shelf, hard for him to see up there with his widdle wegs
