Hung the drywall. Couldn't figure out why we were getting gaps. The frekin drywall square isn't!

Gaps up to an inch can be filled with mud and tape!

Ready for primer tomorrow. I would have liked to use the pre-primed boards only. They are finger jointed and are a lot straighter than the regular pine boards but $$$. I used where I needed 12 footers. The 12' pine at Lowe's was terrible. Also a couple 16'. They only had two in stock though.

My completely gutted and drywalled my first house. I'd rather pay $300 for the trim. Even for one room.

Got the first coat of primer on. Forgot how much bare drywall soaks up. Used 1 1/2 gallons.

Accent wall done. Self adhesive wallpaper. Project Managers idea. I give it six months before it peels.

I set the baseboard up 3/8'' for carpet tuckage. Since we put in linole....... um..... hardwood floors. I had to get some 3/8''x 1'' trim to close that gap.

They have the Uhaul loaded and should be here tomorrow.
