“The shepherd slaughters more of the flock than the wolf ever will.”
Re: Hunting Pictures Thread
But, you did it willingly.

Maybe you mean the left. The hobbit looking dude with shorts and no shoes.

If you don’t wear shoes, don’t complain when the pig blood gets dumped on your widdle piggies.

It was the malice involved in the action I took exception to.
Talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see.
Re: Hunting Pictures Thread
Situational awareness. Responsibility for one’s own self. Learn it. Live it. Be THE example. Not AN example.

Simple mistake, easy to look over. Zee. He’s easy to look over. What being so “low profile” and all.

Re: Hunting Pictures Thread
Quick turnaround trip to Pigland to get my truck which broke down while I was here two weeks ago. Guy I used to work with had never been, so I talked him into hauling me and the truck and getting to kill a piggy.
100-ish yard shot. We started staking him, and got……TOO CLOSE. Full moon, and we could see him. And he saw us. He walked away.
He met up with his ladies, and we stalked again. Got to a better distance and both shot. Both hits, right in the shoulder. I was a little premature in my shot, (never happens, I swear ) my buddy who had never done this was pretty much right on time. His only coaching was on the trip down. I’m honestly surprised he did that well. He typically has to WAY over analyze things. Which, is why I pushed him.
Another good trip with a good dude.
