A tip of my hat to Texas Motor Speedway.

Instead of some "star" trying to put their spin on it 🤮
They had a 100 year old Marine Iwo Jima survivor sing it.

Would I want an album of his singing? No.

Does having a man who fought in and survived what historians say was some of the fiercest fighting of WWII make it meaningful?
It does to me.🫡🫡

I’ve repeatedly said all National Anthems should be played or sung by High schoolers or younger. And all amateurs no exceptions.

Having just re-read the C.S. Forester Horatio Hornblower novels. . .

If the bombs really were bursting in air, the Royal Navy ketch commanders weren't properly doing their job that day. :lol:
