New bottom feeder. A S&W model 41

I've shot a couple of these before.
Not enough to get a feel for if I'd really like them though.
Generally they are too pricey for me to consider buying.
This one was at the free ride point so home it came.

Turns out it really likes me.

Oh man, seriously jealous! A 41 has been on the grail list forever but, like you, never within my budget. Congrats!

The grips are standard as said for the time frame which appears to be 1993
There Goncalo Alves wood real early ones had nice dark walnut.

As close to the perfect trigger as it gets. Great find!

Cant use Junk or any derivation in the same sentence for this one.
