A few months back I mentioned d taken up pipe smoking and restoring old pipes. A friend here PM’d me and offered to send me a couple (I’ll let him out himself if he wants to).

They are cool! I cleaned them and the colors and wood grain popped. Polished the stems and metal and they are ready to be smoked which I hope to get to this weekend.

Don’t know much about their provenance but damn they are cool!

I'm not a tobacco guy, but the artwork alone has me curious about pipes.

Lot of history in pipes. And it’s something else to collect and enjoy.

My wife was looking at the carving and thinks these could have come from Alaska or north western Canada. They appear to be Inuit carvings. Send a couple more pics please.
