Thank you! Closer to NZ now 😁
Instead of moving closer bit by bit every few years, it would be cheaper move all the way over here in one hit....for a holiday of course..

Started yesterday. Damn those are depressing numbers on Waze 🤬

1966 miles to go at start, and already stuck in a traffic jam. I’m NOT going to miss this crowded space!!! 😱

Wave when you go through El Reno, Oklahoma. I won’t see it but it’s still friendly.

I can deal with a few months of crazy heat. I’ve been in Phoenix just about every month of the year and most of the year it’s great. It’s only the over 110 days that get stupid. Besides that’s only home base for a bit. I’m headed north permanently as soon as feasible, and just about every chance I get until then.

Interesting sight on the road today…

Keep it between the ditches, shiny side up, greasy side down, and don't take any wooden nickels!

BTW the Gladiator is handling the towing with ease pulling a 5x8 closed Uhaul trailer that defies the laws of physics weighwise 😎

Getting an average of 17.5 MPG running between 65-69 MPH with the cruise control on.

Nothing like a transcon road trip
You are on a a premier route and will soon pickup the Route 66 path. That run covers a wide swath of American culture. Be sure to sample and appreciate the diverse bbq styles along thee way!

Damn, not bad at all. My Taco would get maybe 12MPG towing.

In Arizona today. We were going to spend the evening in Winslow and finish tomorrow morning but we’re doing great with time so we’ll probably power through and be at my sons by 9:00 pm tonight!

My Bronco averaged about 18mpg when I drove with my trailer loaded (about 2000lbs) from California to North Dakota.
Liked it a lot better the next trip, averaged 31mpg on that trip without the trailer of course.
