What’s for Christmas Eve dinner?

Doing homemade fettuccine chicken Alfredo and antipasto salad.

Cubed up some pork tenderloin and made some taco type things for me. Wife went with my daughter to her in-laws house. Just me and the cat sewing Christmas gifts and listening to heavy metal.
The cat doesn’t like my singing, but I pay the feed bill. So she tolerates it.

Some may say “heavy metal on Christmas Eve?!?
Yes.
Every store I have been in since late September early November has had poop Xmas music blasting. So, in go the air pods and my music gets cranked so I don’t have to hear any Xmas music.

Arroz con habichuelas rosadas, platanos maduros y pernil (that’s slow roasted pork, pink beans and fried sweet plantains for those not savy in PR food culture)…. A GREAT bourbon and branch and our favorite Christmas movie on. 🤣

Pics of food. Risking a pasta-antipasto reaction.

I made a pizza. Just wife and I. We usually go simple the day before a big holiday meal.

Christmas dinner was a nice Prime Rib roast with my wife’s world class mashed potatoes from scratch and French green beans drowning in butter.

My wife hit it out of the park tonight 👍

Christmas dinner was prime rib, salad, scalloped potatoes and creamed spinach.

Didn’t get a full dinner pic, but the prime rib was spot on
