My 7wk old granddaughter got her first shots today. Later my son sent us this picture. I don’t think she was too happy about it.

Opened a box of crackers the other day. Talk about shrinkflation!
Re: The last person to post in this thread don’t get nothing.
Would bother me less if they shrank the box along with the cracker packs. This is just trying to fool people, I would change to another brand.

I'm not saying its all of them, so please dont get upset, but I thought people were supposed to become more understanding and patient with age. The older crowd by far is way less understanding than the younger.
I had a guy come in here a few weeks ago with a blown up Mini-14. It was bad, and everything in my body told me that I wanted no part of it so I told him that he needed to send it back to Ruger. He seemed kind of disappointed but left.
He walks in today with paperwork and hands it to me. It says that if its 2 years old or newer, they'll send a FedEx label to him. If its older, he has to purchase a label. I asked how old it was and he said "I got it new 4 years ago." I told him that he'd have to purchase a label and ship it to them.
I got the immediate, "well can't you do it?" I said, "I don't ship guns, because when I do and they lose it or its stolen, now its my problem and I already went through that with a $3000 air rifle that USPS kept denying the insurance on." (True story)
He was pissed. He left out of here rolling his eyes and mumbling under his breath in disbelief. Again, not all of the older crowd, but its always the older crowd. I dont get it.

Some of us old people have got to the point where we like 'uncomplicated' and prefer to use our money/other people to do the stuff for us.....that way we dont get bogged down in the basics and can work on perfecting grumpiness...

I fully understand not wanting to deal with the shipping but I dont understand the part about him not accepting my reason for also not wanting to deal with the shipping. It's as if my time meant nothing to him and I was the bad guy for not wanting to be on the hook for something that was not my problem.

Hey, it is your business and you can decide what products or services are offered.
If this guy wants to ship he is free to go to fedx and do it himself. I do not believe an ffl is required to ship to a manufacturer for repair?
And finally what i learned many years ago is that getting pissed off at assxxxxles is not worth the effort and definitely not worth ruining my time. So just say no or stronger language if necessary or makes me feel better smile and move on

One of today's tasks. I haven't done an M16 extractor on a 700 bolt in a while. What a PITA compared to a Sako extractor. Either one are heads above the garbage riveted ones that they have been using forever. This style is plentiful although it'll last forever anyways. *I apparently need to do some more deburring after seeing my magnified pics

When I first saw 'No Tail' I didn't think he would survive the winter. Figured he'd get frostbite without his fur scarf. He has now survived TWO winters!

Went through a period of time when a Cubano or a Cortadito was my morning coffee. Yep, really bad for you but damn tasty. It’s easier to make it a weekend treat though. And Moka pots make awesome coffee.
On an an associated topic, coffee and cigars are gifts from God himself and a very complimentary combination. I upgraded my espresso machine a few months ago and this is my usual Saturday/Sunday morning routine now that it’s warm again.

Damn right it does.
It’s not a cigar for the casual smoker or a newbie. If you draw hard and get it hot it’ll feel like coals in your mouth. But a smooth slow draw and a good drink pairing and it’ll be chocolate and nuts. One of my favorite cigars.
