More hypocrisy- Michael Jackson movie

Post by bullsi1911 »

For some reason this is bothering me.

How can Caesar Chavez get cancelled and have streets renamed all over the country over credible accusations of grooming and statutory rape, and Michael Jackson get this big budget movie coming out where he is absolutely celebrated?

Not that I am a fan of Chavez at all, but where is the line where a liberal icon like either one of them is shunned?

Wasn't Micahel aquited on all charges? IMHO, its more likely that some kids mom saw him as an opportunity to make some quick cash. There's also alot of child stars that came out and said he was never inappropriate with them.

Unfortunately since I took my wife and kid to see “Project Hail Mary”, all the ads being sent to me on YouTube are now the trailer for that movie. Ugh.

It could be worse. He could have been elected to public office.

FWIW, he was acquitted of all charges by unanimous jury decision.

I appreciate the links. I get that people are skeptical of his being acquitted, and lord knows that I don't really trust our judicial processes but I just always felt like people were using him as an easy target to make a buck. Now OJ, that's a different story.
