One thing I noticed on the gun: it doesn’t have a front barrel band like a Henry does. Reckon that’s anything to consider?

Nah... I have a bunch of tube fed 22s that have the magazine tube directly attached to the barrel to know it doesn't make any difference. .22 barrels do not have much flex to them, that's why free floating them doesn't really do anything for you when accurizing.

Never thought about it but you’re right. I have several rifles and I guess my 10/22 is the only one with a barrel band. It’s a black synthetic stock so I’m not 100% certain it has one.
