I found the cure for a head cold....

Caught a head cold thursday night from someone when I was at a birthday celebration......Felt like crap friday and yesterday so stayed indoors.......still felt the same today and thought I would go for a walk.....an armed walk lol.
Headed up to the horse farm, said hello to the owners (keeping my distance as I didnt want to pass the bug on) then drove about 200m from the house, got my 243 ready and started my walk. Only went about 100-150m when I spied a couple of does with younguns in tow.
Watched them for a couple of minutes.......then a fallow buck walked out of the bush and stopped facing me.
Range was about 95 metres so I took a standing shot and dropped it DRT.

Had to drag it up over a ridge and down the other side to where I could get the vehicle to.......field dressed it out, loaded it up and was home before dark.

Tikka T3X Lite, Leica Amplus 2.5-15X 50 scope, 80gr Remington factory PSP load.

Cured my head cold.....and for that I am grateful as its less than 7days to opening of the duck season ( My 65th)
