And I thought I was done...

Post by Ernie »

A guy I know contacted me, asking if I knew of anyone wanting to buy a 308 Winchester XP-100.
Thought to myself, "I will see if I know of anyone looking for one."
I asked my typical detail questions, so I could give good info later on.
The more he described via text, it got more interesting.
Then he sent the pics and gave the price.
One more question, and I texted, "I'll take it!"
I have XP's I am trying to sell, and I thought I was done... :D

If you’re interested in a couple of Remington Custom Shop XP’s (223 Remington and 35 Remington) and full blown custom XP (7BR) with an Octagon barrel, Give me a shout.

I know that was a nudge for the 35 Remington but I doubt his toys fall anywhere close to my budget.

SPs have been in my radar for a LONG time. Problem is every time I’m in a position budget wise to acquire one some old time lever action pops into my screen and I end up spending the money in 1800s technology. 🤬

Well, I’ve seen it. I’m all that matters apparently.

Nothing wrong with that.
When you or if you truly want one bad enough, you know where to go.
Or come to Wyoming on the 22nd, use one of my loaners and shoot with us for WY-SHOT

CRAP, unfortunately I leave that Friday to go to NC for my Mother-In-Laws 80th Bday celebration and she got a nice house on the beach for a week so we could have a family reunion. Zero chance I can get out of this one and the logistics would be crazy. BUT, I will commit right now to attending next year!!!!!

Then again, I'm trying to get the wife to head on up to WY sometime this fall to do some "exploring". I would LOVE to get to meet you and I'll even work the dates around your schedule.

My Shoot always starts the day after, Father's Day.
It would be fun to have you come and shoot!
