Hee! Having seen that myself with my Dad's .45-100 loads, I think it would have been fun to write the Quigley "He's been up there all day waiting for two idiots to line up in his sights" movie shot to hit a standing target first, followed by a seated target 20-50 yards behind that accounted for the drop. As long as you're showing off. . .

I've always been fascinated with the WW1 concept of aiming machine guns as artillery for long range area denial. Now the Wile E. Coyote that lives inside my head is thinking about mounting a .45-70 Gatling to a mortar plate with mortar sights.
WWJMBD?

I believe we should stand on Ceremony. . . while our friends handcuff the sanctimonious little prick and take him away.

I’m looking into a taller sight to help me get further. The one I have is only good for about 299 yards.
Talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see.
