That looks like it will do the job J .
I have one for my tractor & a big one on my boom truck .
They both have rock tips on just in case .
I am heading to the west shops at first light & see what I can get into out there today .
I need to tighten up the steps & get back to putting up more rafters .
I keep things loose so I can square them up as I go along .
The heat .... humidity & smoke has slowed that down a bit .
Some projects just take longer than others .

I know SamW and Alpha aren't here now. Still would like to show that some of us do use our pick up trucks for pick up truck stuff. Didn't buy it just because if my small penis!

That looks like a load of work there !
All my trucks are work trucks . Work goes on here too .
The heat hasn't helped .
Picked up another air compressor ...... why ? ...... it was free .
May just paint it up & sell it if it all checks out .

My yard- 1, Little Beaver auger- 0!

Barely better than doing it by hand. It's supposed to pull up rocks (all flat and less than 6"). Nope.... Thing tried to beat us to death pulling up gravel. Had to spud bar all 4 holes. There are different bits that may do better but rental place only had one kind.

Got four out of five in. Fifth has a random chunk of concrete there. Will have to jackhammer it out next weekend.

Interesting side story. Before my stepson came out to help me with the 6x6's. He got up early and went to Cleveland and bought himself a new (used) car. He got a raise for getting some backflow license. The cars parked on the pad are my wife's nieces cars. They came out because they all went to a Godsmack concert over in PA with my wife. Stepson drove them in his new 300. They got home late and the niece with the black car got so spooked by making sure she didn't hit any posts...... backed right into his car. Didn't even have it a day.

Hey! I finally get to participate in this thread. As part of the move, I decided to convert a completely mid-used attic space into a “reloading/ gun tinkering room”

Spray insulation in. Tomorrow should be dry wall and door. Then I can start installing the HVAC

Does that window face the back of the house? Easy to slap a window A/C in there.

Why didn't you run outlets?

Outlet punched in, tape and float done.

Paint and door tomorrow. Then it’s pretty much ready for the portable AC and move in

I am going to lose this weekend to work on our carport. Have to replace a porch roof on my mom and dad's house. Going to rent some scaffolding and get it done quick (I hope)

Porch roof got pushed to next weekend. Rented a jack hammer and got the concrete out. It was a post for a basketball hoop. Got some help scheduled for tomorrow to help lift the 14 foot 6x6's. Getting old. Can hardly move the 20 foot 2x8's by myself.

You are hitting it in all directions there j !
I know what you mean about getting old !
Putting up 16' 2x8 was a pain for me .
We have upper 90s on the way this weekend with high humidity so my work will slow down for the next week .
Probably can use the break .

I have been busy buying stuff at auctions & fitting them into the shops to organize better .
I bought a small welder & rolling storage cabinets .
I have all but the one end wall done for the first floor of shop 3 .I picked up more surface mount outlets for shop 4 ........ 36 of them should help .
Also grabbed spools of single strand wire too all for about 1/3 of what they cost in the stores .Today I plan to do clean up & some better organizing .At least now I'm done with 16' 2x8s

Well- mine is almost done. Just need to pop in the outlets, mount the led shop light, and start moving in my junk and workbench.

My knees were done before the roof was finished. Another brother taking over the last bit.......

Rented scaffolding from Menards. After pounding a couple hundred nails this morning. I took the scaffolding back. While waiting I saw that they had a roofing nailer to rent..... for $1 a day!

We have a north facing house, so no real good windows for my wife's plants. She got some stands to use in front of the french doors. Kind of a pain to move 4-5 plant stands every time you want to open the door.

So I made a sliding plant stand with barn door hardware. It goes far enough to the left that you can complete open the door if needed. Finished it today since I'm a bit sore to lug 2x8's today......
