I just can’t love Sigs.

The way they did the trigger safety/dingus is interesting. Too bad about how terribly they handled the P320 hooplah, even if it was mainly fabricated (no clue). I'm curious to see how aggressively Sig pushes this one to try and get back into all the LE contracts they lost with the P320 debacle.

I'm mildly curious, but I think if I were to get into a Sig platform again it would be the P211. I'm not too interested in sending my dollars to Sig right now, but I could be swayed.

The P365 is probably one of the best shooting pistols I’ve ever carried and with the X sized Wilson Combat frame it gives the 43X a run for the money as a compact carry gun. I’m setting up my wife’s P365 with the Holosun EPS RDS I’m taking off my 48 before I sell it but keeping the small frame. At 10 +1 in such a tiny shootable package I might to sneak it out of her nightstand occasionally just to play with it.

So as far as THIS gun is concerned, in my mind going to a larger gun just to gain a few rounds over the P365 platform makes zero sense to me so I’ll pass on this one.

My P365 isn't going anywhere. Since our resident gunsmith milled the slide andninstalled the Holosun it has become not only my EDC, but favorite to shoot. Don't know how he did it, but when I went to the range to sight it in. I fired one magazine at 21 feet, brought the target back took on look and put the little tool away and haven't touched it once.

The late Big Al shot mine at fisheads ranch and went and bought his own the next week. If this one is the same in a duty suzed gun it will be a winner.

Look everybody! Sig made a Springfield Echelon!

I'm curious to see what that trigger safety is actually doing. All the pics I've seen seem to indicate it sits flush, and the GHAAAAAY dramatic music video on their website doesn't tell much.

Not real eager to shop for a product from a company that rolls the way they seem to roll, but it's likely I'll see one soon.

I award you the 60 foot polished granite Monument of Truth.

Fun thing about patents: they protect the few Really Good Ideas and force others to come up with marketing justifications for why their Less Good Attempts at Non-Infringing Copies are worth having. . .until the patents expire, at which point everybody starts making their own 1911's and Gen 3 Glocks.

If the gap between the introduction of the 1911 and the Glock 17 is any indicator, we should be getting the next ACTUAL Really Good Idea around 2053. BRACE YOURSELF!

I now use the back cloth tape mechanics use to make wire harnesses. I learned that from the Godfather movies
