After watching a lot of vids, decided to give this one a try.
It's small. Slide's not much bigger than a Walther PP.
Pictured is the 13 round mag and comes right to the bottom of my fingers. Perfect size.
Haven't shot it yet, but the slide to frame fit is really close. Not any play at all. Lock up tight.
It's kinda like a mini 1911 sort of...

Love child of a Colt Mustang and a S&W Bodyguard 2.0?

I believe we should stand on Ceremony. . . while our friends handcuff the sanctimonious little prick and take him away.

Re: Never Owned a Kimber But...
Pretty cool little pistol. I have not kept up with Kimber offerings but will be doing so soon since I'm interested in their 2011 offer. I'm very interested in your range report on this one. My wife has spent most of her life shooting 1911s and she prefers the platform. I've been trying to get her used to a P365 because even the smallest 1911 (and she is very proficient with her 3" first-gen Kimber UltraCarry .45) is a tough gun for a small female to carry concealed. She is having a tough time adapting to the P-365 with shooting issues that could be probably ironed out with a whole lot of shooting, something she does not have the time/inclination to do. So this could be an interesting proposition for her.
I personally love Kimbers and I'm always interested in them in general. But it seems to be one of those "polarizing" brands. Folks either love or hate them. Unfortunately, Kimber haters make a whole lot of noise on the internet, and that influences the low IQ YouTube experts to regurgitate absolute nonsense.
A couple of years back I was standing at the gun counter at BPS and a gentleman asked the pimply faced Rambo-wanna-be behind the counter to see a Kimber in the case. The idiot immediately launches into a diatribe about Kimber quality, pricing CS and generally trash talking the brand. Normally I keep my mouth shut but it was painfully apparent that this customer had already decided he wanted the gun only to have the idiot "salesperson" basically try to convince him he was making a huge mistake.
I stepped in a flat out asked the sales guy "How many Kimbers do you own?" He answers with a blank faced "What?". I said "How many Kimber guns do you own?.... OK let me slow it down a notch. How many Kimbers, ANY Timbers, have you shot yourself?" After a momentary silence he goes, "None."
So I looked at the guy and I said, "There's probably 5-6 Kimber guns in my safe's right now, both pistols and rifles. Over my life I have probably owned over a dozen and if I really sat down to write it down it would probably be closer to 20. EVERY one of them has been a flawless great performer. So ignore this idiot and take a look at that fine gun. I can tell you from personal experience you're going to be happy with it. And you MIGHT want to work with someone behind the counter that actually knows what they are talking about."
