Stewart and Koenig in the same week. The Grim Reaper must be dressed as a Klingon for Halloween this year.

I admired Stewarts work. I have been a trekkie since I was a kid. I would watch it while eating dinner on the living room floor. I've seen every show and variant so Star Trek. During the Christmas season I watch all the "Christmas Carol" movies. I used to think George C Scott was the best until I saw Patrick Stewart!

This one hit for me. My dad was a hard man to grow up with and was a big Star Trek fan. It was one of our few bonding rituals. I watched sir Patrick Stewart most weeks with my dad and brothers. I miss those times.

I was in high school when Trek TNG started airing. At the time my folks had a LARGE terrarium in their back porch where the TV was that housed several Chinese water dragons. For Star Trek, and ONLY Star Trek those lizards would climb up onto their various simulated tree limbs and watch the show.Zsarvashere wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2026 9:47 pm This one hit for me. Our best guess was that they liked the engine rumble of the Enterprise D that was constant background noise throughout the show. Or, they just really dug Stewart's accent. . .
