Not disputing, but it was a nice comeback. 😬

When I shot tactical and long range competitions I loved having a level on my scope. It really helped out a lot. In the late 90's early 2000 Leupold put out a statement that there top of the line Mark 4 tactical scopes could have as much as a 3 degree cant R/L & Up/Down when you turned the turrets. Everything is good and level with your scope level at your sight in distance. Start turning them up/down and they start canting off to the right or left. Three degrees at 1000 yards could be as much as 18" as I recall. You won't pick the cant up in scope level, but it's there pushing your bullet one way or another. This was unacceptable for tactical/long range shooters. Leupold gave up a ton of business because of this and opened the doors to many of the newer premier scope manufactures like Vortex and others being used today.

Since I don't shoot much over 300 yards now, I try to keep my setups simple. I've gone back to Leupold for my hunting scopes, most are MK 5 2X10 or 2X7 and a scope level

Is that your Yelp rating for my answer? 4 stars out of 4 stars.

I'll take that.

I had not heard that about the Leupold scopes. I bought a Leupold decades ago and never bought another. I have not seen a Leupold scope at an F-class competition in many years. The only Vortex we ever see is the Golden Eagle and it's pretty rare now. I think Vortex is more popular in PRS as a budget optics, or mid-range, compared to TT, ZCO, March and others.

When I installed the Majesta on my F-TR rifle, I opted to go back to a bubble level that attaches to the Picatinny rail, because the WFD reticle in the scope allows you to check level against the target frame. I just use the bubble level to help we setup the rifle on the line. Once, I get behind the scope, it's all reticle. I was thinking of using the B-square level of 10 years ago, but I opted for the Wheeler level @ $34. The part that sticks out folds so it doesn't grab in the bag when I put the rifle away.

Also, I didn't want to mar the finish on the Majesta.

BTW, I put 2 daughters through A&M. Love your screen name.

I even hunted around the Internet to see if anyone else on the planet had the same problem that you had and you probably know the answer. Maybe it wasn't expensive enough and as your body rejected it, the bubble became exasperated.
It's nice to know there is a place where I can live rent-free, but I won't be spending any time in your head as it's boring and empty.

I bought the Vortex Optics Bubble level in December of 2014, almost 9 years ago. It was the most expensive one I had bought at that time at $39.00 from Amazon. I had been using the B-Square model for $18 up to that point. My newest model is a Wheeler which cost $40 or some such.

I also realize your Search-Fu is subpar, as it tokk me about 10 seconds to find a report of someone having the same issue as I reported with the bubble on Amazon. I like to read the one and two star reviews of products I'm considering purchasing to see when can go wrong.

I am officially putting a VACANT sign on your head.

I certainly apologize, I apparently missed the one person on Amazon that has something in common with you. As for living in my head? Don't flatter yourself, I doubt anyone thinks about you as much as you do.

I'm extremely bias as I think A&M is greatest University there is. I went there and wear my ring proudly everyday! Congrats to your daughters! Funny thing is, there is absolutely no way I would ever get into A&M now if I just graduated HS. It's top 7% of your class now or some type of athletic scholarship! My boys who went there, but partied there way out, we're all going down for the A&M/Alabama game Oct 7th. Should be a great time! Tell your daughters Gig'em for me!

I have one that graduated some years back. My other one at A&M is still there. She's getting her ring next month. October 7th, eh? My wife and I have been talking about going to a game before she graduates. But isn't A&M/Alabama like the biggest game of the season?

Yes it is and tickets were priced for it :D My boys and I go to one game a year. We always have end zone seats as they're the most affordable. A&M has been so up and down the past few years, it can drive you crazy! The highlight of any A&M game is the precision of the A&M marching band at half time. They never disappoint and always put on a great halftime show. Congrats to your daughter graduating next spring.

Strange thing about the A&M ring and not knocking anyone else's ring and their colleges. The A&M ring is a goal from your first day on campus. It's something everyone strives for the fall of their senior year! Most will wear there's for life! I've never heard of any other college except UT (much like A&M) where the ring is a huge part of attending and graduating. Some will get one most won't. Our oldest graduated from Univ AR in '17. We were going to buy him his ring, he said no thanks I wouldn't wear it. It was strange to me hearing this. Just not a big deal at other universities!

If you decide to come to game reach out and let me know. Always looking for a reason to go home to College Station and have a great weekend!

Around these parts, Championship rings rule. Hardly see any other type
I personally know a guy who didn't play but got one for being a "team manager" or some other ancillary position. He wore it to a job interview, for a job he was BARELY qualified for, and had no experience in the field. Once the interviewer saw the ring, he only talked about football and hired him, even though the guy hired knew some of the other applicants and knew they were MUCH better qualified and had more experience in the field

Yeah, my daughter is so looking forward to getting her ring. This will be my second and last ring ceremony where I present it to my daughter. Of course, Pegasus's daughters would want the most expensive rings available but they are worth it.

I'll discuss it with the family this week and see if we want to try to fight the mob that weekend.

And to the OP, jkp. Sorry about the thread derailment, but this is far more important than silly bubbles.

I still appreciate the positive Yelp review.
