This is a smoking deal. Add a PSA Dagger top end for $199, and you have a cheap beater gun that used easy to find mags and holsters

I'm probably the only person in the world who would like to see someone build a polymer frame that one could put on a 1911...

That frame is better than a Glock in the grippy department. I love mine.

Re: Cheap way to build a Not-A-Glock
The Staccato and Prodigy are basically cutting the grip and triggerguard off the frame right below the top grip screw hole and bolting on their plastic lowers. Gets rid of the screw/escutcheon arrangement of the original while adding a fairly beefy screw and anchor nut where the top grip screw would be, and an annoyingly small pair of Allen screws into an insert bushing at the front of the triggerguard. Gets rid of the staked plunger tube in favor of an integral. I imagine the same could be done for a single stack for a reduction in overall girth of the grip.DanielChamberlain wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 10:39 pm I'm probably the only person in the world who would like to see someone build a polymer frame that one could put on a 1911...
Glocks that aren't Glocks. . .1911's that aren't 1911's. . .How did Bill Murray put it? "Human sacrifice! Cats and dogs living together! Mass hysteria!"
