Pistol Red Dot sight adapter plates
A while ago I bought a Swenson G17 slide on sale that has the cut for the Burris Fastfire/ Vortex Venom sight footprint.
Anyone know anything about Adapter plates for micro red dot sights? I’m not wanting to do the FastFire/ Venom sight, so looking for options.

Most adaptor plates are made for factory cuts, IE Glock MOS to RMR/DPP/whatever. It might take some creativity to find something that is Fastfire to _____ or even a custom made one. I'm not finding much in my Googling.

Buy your sight, send it and the slide to Justsomedude. Done…
Re: Pistol Red Dot sight adapter plates
Contact C&H Precision Weapon Systems ( chpws.com) and see if Buck has anything that will fit that cut.

CHPWS is a company that won't get my money anymore unless I absolutely HAVE to have what they're selling and there's no alternative. I've used their products or services 4 times, and had QC issues three times with results from their customer service ranging from "That's not our problem" (for a slide they Cerakoted chipping off, how is that not their problem?) to "I guess we can send you a replacement if you really want us to" (for a plate that was milled incorrectly and didn't match the slide cut, and was warped). Also had their cheap little "t-nuts" they use have bases too thick for the plate to lay flat. The only CHPWS product I haven't had an issue with was one of their older steel plates with built in posts instead of those stupid t-nuts.
CHPWS invented the aftermarket optic plate gun, but they definitely went the way of Icarus and grew too fast. If I ever need another plate I'll be looking to Forward Controls Design first, though I'm still holding fast to hope that we'll see 2-3 optics "footprints" standardized sooner rather than later.

Bullsi “knows a guy. “
He is going to draw and machine an A-Dapter plate.

Re: Pistol Red Dot sight adapter plates
I've made oddball adapter plates a few times. Weirdest one was on a 1911 that someone else had milled a step in the slide. Looked like they were trying to fit a rear sight and goobered it up so the guy was really only left with attaching an Rmr, hence the bastard adapter plate.
