I only bought my 3D printer to make parts for my airguns. I've been making kits that convert crosman 1322 and 1377 models to PCP and had to make barrel bands to replace the factory ones. It took me a while on tinkercad to figure out how to make my own parts but now that I know how to design, it's not too bad. Here are the barrel bands. I also learned that PLA+ with 100% infill is extremely strong.

I saw this just now. This guy has an aftermarket barrel band on his air rifle. He is on a local squirrel hunting page. He showed his setup back before season started......

While the whole system has the most influence, matte filament is THE way to go. Hides many more sins than shiny.

Yeah I HATE using support material. Even with the fancy new printer I’ve not been impressed. But, it could be the table it was on. It shakes like a dog passing a peach pit when it’s operating.
So I’ve moved it to the floor. It won’t shake the concrete.

Supposedly there's filaments that you can use solvents to dissolve only the support material but I have no idea how that works. I've only messed with PLA, PLA+ and ASA. The ASA is some super strong stuff and prints incredibly clean and smooth but I had to buy an insulated enclosure and warping was still kind of problematic. I just wanted to see what I could get away with though.

I don't know if anyone remembers me talking about growing my carolina reaper and kristian Thai peppers in my hydroponic setup (the big unit.)

Well the Thai peppers came in faster than the carolina reapers and they're supposed to be mild in the spice department so I unwittingly bit into one. Apparently they cross pollinated with the carolina reapers . Jeebus, I don't know what I'm gonna do with all of these.

$150+ for just the Jameson, Makers, and Crown. The rum and tequila is more my thing, not my favorite brands, but will mix well. I am kind of excited to check out the wheelbarrow, must be getting old, it is still in a box and I did not get it from the guy yet, no room in the trunk with all the booze

The neighboring pig farmer planted corn across the road in what was a hay field....



It was planted late but he just uses it for silage. Instead of a silo, he makes a big silage burrito...



Yesterday it was harvested......



Went across the road to get the mail and noticed that his combine is a piece of JUNK! It left at LEAST 20%-25% of the ears laying on the ground.....



That's ok. Will probably see a lot of deer and maybe a few turkeys out there this fall/winter eating it up..... Unless he plows it under.

It is a possibility, but it isn’t fed in enough quantity for that. Silage is usually fed along with another rough forage of a lower protein.
In my area silage isn’t used nearly as much these days but in the past it was very common. I was asking my dad about what crops they used and he told me that his Grandfather told stories of a farm hand that would collect the drippings from the silo for drinking.
That would have been during the depression/ dust bowl/ prohibition era.

The Hank the Cowdog books by John R. Erickson. Children’s book series revolving around Hank the Cowdog (Head of Ranch Security) and his adventures. One book has Hank hanging out with a couple coyotes in the old silage pit getting hammered and howling at the moon.
