Needs the top permanently mounted, some sanding and sealing but that’s the basic idea. Pretty steady too. Much needed upgrade.

You know, you can build a bomb proof bench out of steel you can flip into a truck or UTV. They are heavy, but doable. I have one and am building a second. Just gotta have nuts or a second person to load it in a vehicle. Doable and effective.

Now exactly where are you going to find a flat piece Arizona land that you can use???

Hummmm, everywhere? Not even 35 mins away from my son’s place I went on a dirt road off the highway (one of many) that goes 10s of miles into BLM land with offshoots into the desert in every direction. Didn’t see a soul all day and drove past dozens of places where I could have easily shot 1,000 yards. My new app on my phone has helped me find dozens of these.

Plus I’m shopping for land an in Northern AZ there a hundreds of listings for acreage for cheap. So I’m paying attention to this thread because I’ll be needing a portable but solid bench I can throw on the bed of the Jeep.
