FEDEX stopped by today with something sharp

Post by Jayhawker »

Every now and then I find a sword that I just gotta have...
This one is an Irish Hilt Backsword...it differs from a Broadsword in that it has a different blade geometry and is single edged as opposed to a Broadswords double edges....While it's a basket hilt, the basket is heavily, yet quite artfully, I think. skeletonized.
And, worth noting, the thing arrived wickedly sharp....Don't ask me how I found out...

Nice! Kinda screams out for a few flintlock pistols carried for left-hand draw. . .
WWJMBD?

I believe we should stand on Ceremony. . . while our friends handcuff the sanctimonious little prick and take him away.

My clever post was a theme in the movie "The Highlander." Lots of sword play in that movie.

That is pretty awesome. I have no reason for a nice sword… but I want one

Six-fingered man, you ignorant peasant.

Wha...? I can't believe I did that. My memory is so sharp I rarely make mistakes. Anyways, you also need a sword for protection against the Rodents of Peculiar Size in the Fire Forest.

I hope you did that on purpose.
