For California it will never end, until a Federal law is out in place. Some years back, some cities attempted to make ARs illegal. The Governor out out that if a mayor attempted that again mayors would be arrested and relieved if duties something similar needs to happen federally and I'm not sure I want to see that happen.

"The more you tighten your grip, the more (of them) slip through your fingers" - Princess Leia

While the insanely long dragging out of the process is maddening, I can actually manage to summon some optimism.

In addition to their expected appeals, the response of the lunatic left to the recent rulings in our favor has been to go off the deep end with even more wacky legislation written with the purpose of keeping their original restrictions in place.

They're just forcing sterner rulings in our favor and ultimately will need Newsom's Constitutional Amendment/Convention to get their way. Good luck with that.

Not that I think I have a reasonable expectation of living long enough to see that day, however, I'll gleefully accept anything Saint Benitez wants to hand down.

Same guy's vid from today covering the dissenting opinions and path toward SCOTUS:

Nobody really expected much different from the 9th or for it to end there.

Saw that one also. Your only hope is someone takes it to SCOTUS.
Well, that and/or leaving the state.

SCOTUS has likely been the plan all along. Honestly, I'm not sure how it would have played out if we had won in the 9th Circuit, since the left undoubtedly DOESN'T want it to go to SCOTUS with its current makeup. it's a fight we all need to follow, lest our left coast cancer spread to your happy homes. Consider the purpling effect Denver and Austin have on their respective states. Socialism loves urbanites who can't think or fend for themselves - and that population is NOT shrinking.

I pay attention to it, mainly to feel better about living in the free world. That cancer will never hit here in my lifetime, save for St Louis. (Which we will gladly give to Illinois, BTW,free of charge)
We have a reputation of being a place no liberal would be caught dead in, and I’m fine with that.
Hell we said fudge off, Fedbois, we aren’t enforcing your gun laws, and will prohibit our LEO from doing so. And now we are getting sued by BoBo’s Guvco.

Californiastan has so many restrictive gun laws and the NRA has abandoned that state. 20 years ago it passed a law that if you had a SKS, and it was modified to have a detachable mag, you had to register it before a deadline or surrender it. ARs have to have a magazine that you need a tool to remove and not an external mag release button. Their law outlawing lead bullets was the worst abuse of science and statistics ever. Firearms must be transported in a locked case and not in the passenger compartment, (SUV are a problem). The ammo has to be stored in a separate place. Their drop test is another fiasco. Residents are restricted from buying certain guns, but LEOs can own anything they want, so much for the absence of title and privilege. It is my understanding the Hawaii, Massachusetts, and a couple other states aren't much better.

Point of correction, Negotiating Rights Away (NRA)
Abandoned the entire US years ago. They are nothing more than a stuffed suit lobbying organization. And a good scape goat/whipping boy we can use to blame horror on while real gun rights organizations are kicking ass and taking names.
I won’t take ALL credit from the NRA, as they have done some good.
But they will never see a dime from me again. Too many other groups spend my money in more effective ways.
