Remington Model Seven.

My dad is continuing downsize and “thinning out” to the few that he will shoot. Dad was going to sell it outright but I had to intervene. We came to an understanding and I ended up with a pretty darn nice Model Seven in 243! I had an extra leupold 2-7 compact so it got installed. Man can’t wait to get to the range!!

My Dad started running a SS/synthetic one in 7-08 in ongoing efforts to reduce his walking load. Damn thing feels like it's made of helium and spiderwebs. Hunting and range trips often contain statements like, "Dad, you forgot to bring a rifle - I think this case is empty".

It’s not that light but it’s super handy and definitely lighter than most! A fly weight for sure.

Apparently it’s a first year production model Seven! 1983. It has a 9 1/4 twist.
