So, I just realized the safety won't move in the MDT stock. Fortunately I installed it with the safety off, but I'll still need to disassemble and remove some "material" as MDT calls it to make it fit. I sent them a note asking for some specificity regarding the area to hit with the Dremel.

Grinding part of the stock should fit perfectly with the scratches I already added screwing around with the pin for the mag release.

They will tell you to grind the dingus on the trigger.
Sit tight, lemme see if I can find some pics. May be a bit.

But, I’d grind the stock. It’s doesn’t take much

That’s likely excessive.

Here’s what they will tell you to grind. The white circle is the new gen. That little transfer bar t i t sticks out more.

And the email :

Thanks for reaching out.

Oddly enough, we have seen that on some, not all. We do see the transfer bar is a hair long and dragging on the chassis. We've been telling people to trim the end of the bar down. After that, it's good to go. We're doing further testing in-house, and we expect a slight revision on the next batch.

Thank you for sharing your results and happy to hear you're all good now.

Please let us know if you've any further questions.
