Is there a bounty or anything on them?
Re: Hunting Pictures Thread
That was my first thought too, but I saw you'd already posted it

Trash pandas have been screwing with the feeders. My brother went out tonight with a freshly sighted in Mini 14 and started reducing the population.

Re: Hunting Pictures Thread
Out hunting this morning as the temps dropped from almost 80 degrees yesterday to 38 degrees and 32 mph winds.
As we were packing up this morning and about to head out… we see this guy in my mom’s back yard with about 3 BIG does with him So we set in the blind and start waiting… after firing up the buddy heater and having some venison snack sticks Just as light comes up, a little doe is under the feeder. With the weather change and wind, we did not think we would see anything, so this was a good sign Main focus on this hint was a cull spike or doe and for the kiddo to get his 2nd deer of the year. So, a big shooter doe came in… and as the kiddo was getting set for the shot… they all spooked and ran… for no real reason we could tell. Drat.
About 10 min later a big bodied animal came in, I looked through the binoculars saw he was a 3 point and said “take him”. Kiddo got on the gun quick and snapped a shot. Could tell it was a solid hit as the spike took off running. We waited about 15 min, and went out. Solid blood about 5 yards from the hit, 20 yards of tracking through agarita brush and here we go: This county is a “2 buck” county, so the kiddo is tagged out on antlers now. So… he has the 10GA up in case turkeys come in, and I am up to see if I can get one more deer for the freezer

Nice! Good the see a kiddo getting some shooting in and making good shots, a little uncomplicated tracking to do too.

Re: Hunting Pictures Thread
Awesome he tagged out.
I brought my nieces son and my nephews son out this year.
My nieces actually got one.
My nephews is only 12 and brand new to hunting.
He learned a lot and could have had one the first 5 minutes in had he more experience.
One deer came across he wasn't ready a second was behind it.....he learned.
One of my sons who I didn't think would want to hunt.
I asked if he'd shoot a deer and he surprised me with yes.
I'll get out this year.
Should be my best year...with lots of family going.

Great Pics. That family is going to eat well
Re: Hunting Pictures Thread
Had TWENTY TWO deer in the field at once last night. All does. Possibly a button buck, couldn’t see that well. 13 walked into the field. Then a few minutes later 9 ran out to join them.
All just out of bow range. So my seasons over. I only had to eat 1 out of 4 tags. Not a bad year.
And the new crap toter.
