Exposing their belly is a trust move. Although I think sometimes they are just hot.

Farmer neighbor doing farmer stuff. I would hate to own a combine. He had to work on it several times. Glad I haven't washed my truck lately, We are in a drought and it was extremely dusty.

It was interesting to see how many hawks showed up around the field waiting for the smorgasbord.....

High heat tape to keep powder coat off the threads.

Powder coat turned out nice.

I did the barrel nut tonight, and a sample on a chunk of steel for a guy at work.
Did the sample , and put away the equipment.
Decided to do the nut. Got it back out. Took 30 seconds to set up.
Which involves rolling it from its spot, plugging it in and connecting the air hose.
Before I hated digging everything out and setting it up.
Make. It. Easy.

I am more of a breaking it than fixing it kind of guy, I am surprised stuff works most of the time.

Northern Lights were pretty spectacular tonight

We’ve got it here in MS too. Have to use a cellphone in order to see it. But the sky does a little different hue to it

I rode out to see the suns coronal ejaculation or whatever it’s called. No dice.

Got you all beat. We could even see it without using the camera.

Ha! Did a charter today. Called the coastguard when we cast off to make our trip report no reply. Tried 3 times. Thought it might have been our radio, so tried calling on the second VHF radio.....still no joy. Ended up ringing them on my cellphone and found they could hear me and were replying but their messages back were not getting through.
It was rough where we were fishing and it was an area where there is no cell coverage. Might have to get a sat phone as well.
