Had the same problem with jaboticaba berries when we lived in HI.
My wife wanted to throw it out until I pointed out all the pancake syrup we now had!

My wife likes black raspberry jam. Another Amish family on the other side of town has those (plus blackberries, red raspberries, and blueberries). Two or three more weeks until they're ready.

If you are interested, this rebate, plus Midway’s clearance prices, and free shipping after 100$, makes this NXD a good deal, going to run some of this stuff through the AR pistol and a new pistol caliber carbine I am getting this week, Science!

Unfortunately, my Chrony chronograph gave up the ghost and won’t turn on

Things I hate as an old man when dealing with the internet.
1. Asking me to sign up to get a discount
2. Asking for an email to “keep in touch”
3. Asking if I want to chat
4. The annoying chat box that keeps popping up after I close it.
5. A pop up saying “Harry Balzonya from Winslow Arizona just purchased ____.”
6. Telling me 69 people have this item in their cart.
7. Putting the price at the bottom of the page, having to scroll past paragraphs of marketing wankery.
8. Marketing wankery
9. Needing to contact a salesman to get a price.
10. Overly flashy websites with gaytarded graphics and videos.

I’m sure there’s more.

What I do want.

1. The item I’m after.
2. Pics of the above.
3. Price of the above.

If you want to add marketing wank, do it at the end.

Now what really grinds my gears is that there are no clouds to yell at!

No clouds but is that a crow or a UAP scoping your hood?

Yea, why the hell would I care what Joe Schmoe just bought? Why do I care how many people have an item in their cart - what do either of these have to do with the price of beans?

The #1 thing I want from an e-commerce site is a search engine that **** works - I'm looking at YOU, Amazon and (increasingly) eBay. They apparently think I'll buy more if they show me a bunch of crap I'm not looking for right now - in reality all it does is piss me off and I go elsewhere.

As for "call for price", that NEVER works - its GUARANTEED to send me looking elsewhere. It didn't work 30 years ago with paper catalogs, and it doesn't work now.

Dont know if Amazon still uses “dynamic pricing” where customer buying habits, zip code, device used to access changed the price. Washington Post just got caught doing something similar. Washington Post is owned by Bezos

I bought a new Honda a few years ago. My previous Honda was sent directly to Honda Heaven by a red light runner.
I sent an identical email to all Honda dealers in the county there are many. Put down the exact specs of what i wanted and told them to send me their best price out the door and that i was going to buy specified car in 3 days. Included some info so they knew it wasnt a crank.

Some dealers went for it and some didnt i got a really good offer from one and did the deal.

Just did a similar round when re doing the kitchen on major appliances

Point is that price of lots of expensive items is negotiable but many people don’t negotiate.

Yep. I did similar years back when buying a fifth wheel trailer. Went to the library and looked up the number of every RV dealer that handled "Komfort" trailers within a 200 mile radius, and called them all. Told them all the same thing, exactly what I was looking for, etc. Most of them wouldn't play ball, I said that's fine, I'll find someone who will. And I did, for $1,500 less than most dealers were advertising. Drove down there the next day.

I’ll make a thread on it but…

Zermatt Origin action
Trigger tech trigger.
Aero Precision chassis.
I think it’s a Bartlein barrel, .223 26”.
