While we were setting up the feeders and cameras yesterday, one of the family members caught this trespasser… and snapped a pic. So, my kiddo, not even knowing what an “Audad” is, immediately wanted to go see if we could get it.
We then went on a 4-5 mile spot-and-stalk hike in where we only saw the out of season white-tail. However- my kid has Eagle damn eyes for finding skulls and antlers. He found both of these guys:

I’m guessing they were bumped on the highway and made it the… 3/4 mile? to the ranch and died. But it could be poachers or predation by wild dogs.

Successful night on Saturday! I’ve been after one of these yotes for a couple months. I’d get pics of him at the bone pit every so often and nowhere else on my friends ranch. Then the yote would disappear. Called for him a few times to no avail. Saturday night, we got him. Called at the pit and saw him circling around behind us to get down wind. Case closed. Plus we got a bonus yote and bobcat on another field. Glad to finally close the case on that one yote.

What distance are the thermal scopes good for?
Sure beats tying a flashlight under the barrel of a .22 and shooting rats at the dump like we did a long time ago

I’ll send a video of I still have it. I saw deer running towards me at 600 plus yards. Seeing and shooting, two different things of course

My sister just sent this pic of one that has been hanging out in her yard for the last week or so.

Dang, lurking in the neighborhood. "Officer, this peeping Tom approached me holding sharp objects above his head......."

Just a couple of pics. A Red Grouse I photographed a couple of weeks ago and a rather bold cock pheasant a few days ago.
