Printed a battery holder for my NV battery.

Painters tape.
It takes cr123 batts internally or uses an external usb battery thing.
The internals don’t last long and are pricey.

No residue with painters tape.

Worrying about residue is a new thing for you, no?

If you need something stronger, that still doesn't leave residue, Gaffers tape.
Nearly as strong as ducktape, doesn't leave residue

In my day we didn't use no tripods or highfaluten battery powered scopes. We used buckhorns and leaned against a tree like God intended!

I connect that scope to my smart phone and watch the critters come in like they are on TV.

Tried to post a Rock River upper online to sell. There aren't any free places left. Armlist wants a monthly script and Gunbroker wants double verification (i.e. a pic of your license).... but the verification thing doesn't even work/give a place to download one.......

And so it begins......

Went to an outdoor range yesterday with my buddy that has the 416 ruger Savage rifle. Got to fire it a few times with 500 grain handloads of his and it'll definitely talk back to you but its not terrible. The highlight was 2 groundhogs that were dumb enough to show themselves. He killed both with a 6 Creedmoor, taking ones face completely off.

]I cant draw a stick figure so machining has pretty much been my only artistic talent. It's a barrel I turned down to match the contours of a military mauser. I leave a little more shoulder area incase anyone ever wants to move the chamber forward. And topped off with my insignia.

Found an intruder in the basement. Milk snake. He was a bit lethargic. Probably needed water. I put him by my woodpile.
