Change your iPhone name to something more interesting, and then turn on your Wi-Fi hotspot. When you are in a corporate meeting and they have their laptop on…you and the whole room may get to see your phone pop up on their screen as the laptop tries to connect to Wi-Fi

Man, it’s right toasty in the micro camper. Heat is all the way down, time to open the windows.
Tents suck. I’m sayin.

Don’t forget to change the batteries in the methane detector when it’s daylight savings time

I wasn’t referring to gaseous emissions, I was referring to how hot it was. There’s no thermostat on the heater. It’s level 1-6, off or on. Woke up sweating my sack off about 1:00am, no blanket and just my skivies on. Had to shut it off. I was cooking.

I have the meat from the last steer I took in but I hadn't had a steak until this weekend. Saturday lunch was a 1 inch thick ribeye. I was to lazy to start any charcoal so I cooked it in a cast iron skillet. The last one we had butchered I had trouble in the feeding process and they weren't ready yet but in todays world you can't change your locker date so they went anyway. The meat was good and everybody else was happy. This time I used a different feed company and these steaks are great. I am not a meat grader but I would not be surprised if it was prime. It's nice when things work out.

What better way to count down to Christmas than a Hans Gruber falling off the Nakatomi Tower advent calendar?

Made a trip to the lake today. Didn't catch anything. Need an anchor. By the time I see something on fishfinder. The wind blows me past it.

Get yourself a drift sock. The cheap ones work just fine.

And an anchor trolley. And a small pound-2 pound claw anchor. Hit me up on how to rig it so you don’t lose it WHEN it gets hung.

I have a 3.5# claw anchor. Did me no good sitting on a shelf in the garage......
I know about using a zip tie on the anchor. Going to lift the seat 2''-3'' and make a standing bar. My knees are in my chin trying to stand up.
Also need a marker bouy. I went over a hump with brush, weeds, or something on it. Had a ball of bait and many fishes around it. By the time I messed around (unsuccessfully) trying to mark it on the map, it was gone.

I'd use a window sash weight if you can find one. Or a one pound fishing weight.

Anchor with a few feet of chain attached. And the zip tie….get the LIGHTEST one you can find. Ask me how I know.
And unless it’s just to know roughly where a brush pile is, don’t bother marking it to fish it. Do like you mention, get a buoy .

I've been watching Youtube video's of this lake. So far I've seen bass (one was 5.5#), crappie, bluegill, channel cats, and grass carp caught. Bunch of winter kill shad.
This map shows fish attractors. That is what I saw. Three dots right there.....

I am making a battery box for my trolling motor. Mounted charger in box. Will put a 115v plug in the tray in lid and a plug for motor on side so it will be self contained.
