Yep, that’s the program we’ll be following. And make sure every time parents try to discipline the kid looks at them defiantly and says, “Well at grandpa’s house I don’t have to do this poop….”

My wife is itching to find out the sex and my daughter is holding the information hostage

We were having a “discussion” about it and wife says “But if I don’t know the sex of the kid how do I know what to buy?!?” She then looks at me for support. I shrugged and said “I don’t care. Guns, knives and ammo are unisex.”

My daughter laughed and I got punched…

Congratulations! Spoil them yes, sing and recite funny songs and poems will be a must! I like bananas, dead skunk in the middle of the road, a berp is just a gust of wind, etc. You know the ones I'm talking about! They make the kids jump, dance and laugh and their parents and your wife roll their eyes.

You did a great job with your children, now that you have experience you'll do an even better job and have more fun doing it!

I'm so jealous. My granddaughters live in Finland and I only get to see them on the phone but, I can sure get them wound up!

They will be moving to the US as soon as my SIL's visa is approved, I can't wait!

I take that one step further…. My kids know what’s coming. Mom use to routinely come home to find the three of us (son, daughter and dad) elbow deep into large bags of candy like M&Ms and watching highly age inappropriate violent movies on comedy specials in n TV.

At 2 years old, my son was supposed to open the door at his aunt’s surprise birthday party and just yell out “Surprise Aunt Lisa!”. Instead he opened the door and gleefully shouted out “I’m a genius and I’m hung like a bear!!!”. A line taken out of an old Robin Williams comedy special. You could hear a pin drop in that room and I was laughing so hard I nearly passed out. My wife didn’t speak to me for days!
