I did. Granted there was some delay between loading 3 into the Mag and pauses between shot while waiting on the steel to stop moving.

What changed ?

Wambli my nephew had a brick of those thunderbolts that turned a rifled barrel into a smooth bore in very short order.
I cleaned the barrel a little better with lead remover and then stuck a bore light down the barrel until I saw no “apparent” coating down the bore.

Showed my friend the results and he said for me to just order him a new Green Mountain Barrel.
🤷‍♂️

Different manufacturers cost there .22s with different waxes etc. it yay sally takeas 10-20 rounds for one brand/type of ammo to strip the old stuff and lay down the new stuff. At that point groups usually settle down.

On a side note, I had malfunctions with the Federal Lighting and the German Match. 🤷

`Assuming the crown is good, check the rear of the chamber for the slightest ding/burr from a dry fire strike, we found out with our match rifles that when accuracy falls off and we do a major cleaning we had to " season " the bbl. until it settled down , sometimes it took 25 - 50 rounds we used Federal # 711 or Champion as it was the most consistent and accurate of non match ammo. FWIW we never used copper plated ammo in a quality 22 rimfire bbl.

I have a 597 that won't shoot anything well but Stingers, a buddy has a 597 he purchased at the same time as mine that only shoots the cheapest crap you can buy well. My CZ is not terribly picky about what I feed it as long as I'm not going for target gun groups. It always amazes me how what should be a simple cartridge can be such a pain to have consistent accuracy.

If it's got everything new except the action, my guess is the problem lies there. BTW I note without judgement the pink stock.

The few times I actually cleaned a .22 barrel, it took 20-30 rounds to settle back in. Have to get the bullet lube back in the barrel.
