It was a damn good time. As always with these Jackasses. Awesome food. Plenty of entertainment. Plenty of laughs. Guns, thermals, suppressors and pigs. What’s not to love? I think our pig count was down a little from last year. Still a lot of pigs. But we made up for it with quality. Several good size pigs taken this year.
I ran my Howa 1500 mini action in 6 ARC with 106 grain Hornady ELD X handloads for pigs. The combo worked before and was no exception this time.
Also took my recent 10/22 Lite build as a show and tell item. It’s a lot of fun.
My Savage 17 HMR went for carrying around the ranch in case of targets of opportunity. I recently had it threaded and acquired a magnum rated suppressor. It was more of a show and tell. The targets of opportunity only came out when the rifle wasn’t present.
And my suppressed Keltec P17 went, just to enable… I will be looking to follow up on my idea of getting a holster that will carry that pistol with the suppressor.

Yes, the show and tell is always fun and costs everyone money!!
We play with other guns and accessories and then end up spending our own money upgrading.
The P-17 is an awesome gun (when you don’t drop your mag) and handgun suppressors are nice in the dark so you don’t blow your ears off on NDY Pigs. Who are looking at biting your ass.

And yeah, a suppressed .300 BO with Subs is cool. Though exceedingly limited. I wanted to kill a pig with Chris’s. But a broken truck prevented.

Wife's going to be using 190gr subs (Horn SubX @ 1070fps) for hogs, if this freakin' foot ever heals and we get the chance to go. Her shots at hogs are inside of 50 yards, so the rainbow trajectory shouldn't be an issue.
